These are a number of tracks I recorded way back when.
I keep telling myself I should get back into music, but can't seem to find the time.
I'm releasing all these under a Creative Commons By license.
This means you are free to share/use the music as long as you credit me (macouno) for writing/recording the tracks.
Some loose tracks
This is a small selection of non specific tracks. All written and recorded by myself.
2003
Being me A small song I wrote and recorded one evening after a few too many vodkas
Living is easy I still really like the intro to this one, even with the weird reverse guitar effect
No mind for me Here you can tell I don't like chorusses much
Go little brother A friend of mine had passed on, and I needed to vent somewhat
2001
Lilly A short track with a bit of piano, and for once, no guitars
Gwackamotracka A deceptive intro... lots of nasty guitar edits...
Right in time O yeah, the middle bit is weird, I know, but I like the part before and after
1999
Chills An acoustic track, just me and a guitar recorded in a single take
Insud Something a bit rougher/more experimental
1998
Lazlo This is a real oldy, the mix is crap, but when I tried to fix it, it lost all it's feel... so it is what it is. BTW, the whistle sounds are beer bottles
Everywhere soundtrack (2001)
These were recorded for the short motion picture "Everywhere", which was made by some friends of mine from Berlin in 2001. They came and recorded part of the footage in The Hague. They stayed in the old school building, which I then called my home. I wrote/recorded the music without seeing any material. Most tracks are instrumental.
If you were here A small semi acoustic thing where I attempted to play the harmonica
Deep blue Even though it may not sound like it, these are just a bunch of guitars played with an Ebow
Door to door Vocals by a good friend of mine... I still enjoy hearing it. The writing process was great fun
Lofy A little acoustic instrumental ditty, just a couple of resonator guitars
Nomad Another instrumental thing, but not so acoustic...
Not alone A rather odd instrumental track... you can tell I like the muted strumming
The brass Definitely schmoked one too many french cigarettes before recording the vocals!
Tiz Well can't bely my heritage... we needed something rough in there!
I found an old DVD with around 70 tracks on it... so its is just a small selection, but for now I'll leave it at this.
